After 49 years in business, 1972 to 1985 in Sweden as Idhammar Konsult AB, and since1985 here in the USA as IDCON INC., we are excited to join TRM. The acquisition constitutes a fusion of IDCON’s reliability and maintenance management domain expertise with TRM’s technology expertise.  The two companies will deliver a broad portfolio of reliability and asset management solutions ranging from maintenance management and reliability best practice consulting to AI-powered maintenance and reliability solutions.  It also expands the reach of TRM offerings into international markets through IDCON’s affiliates in Asia, Europe, South America, and Australia.

IDCON operations will continue as usual with Tor Idhammar as President and CEO, Owe Forsberg as Vice President, and Christer Idhammar, founder, working part-time. The great IDCON team (Employees, Associates, and Alliances) will stay in place as is. There will be no disruption to clients, the company says in a statement.

No major changes are anticipated other than some new and exciting opportunities for IDCON and TRM clients, IDCON adds. TRM will bring background support for IDCON and the ability to develop new products and services in the hinterland of managing people, cutting edge CMMS design/implementation, and machine learning (A.I).

They will support IDCON as a separate entity under our current name, culture, and image.
