AI-Powered Platform to Support Civil Infrastructure Maintenance
New AI-based functions will provide predictive maintenance for bridges, culverts, retaining walls and sea walls around the world.
Dynamic Infrastructure (DI) introduced the latest version of its AI-based platform that provides real-time, predictive intelligence for civil infrastructure management.
Combining advanced computer vision and deep language understanding, DI analyses both images and inspection reports, even when they are unstructured and complex, to extract critical insights.
This combination of visual and textual data enables continuous monitoring and risk prediction across thousands of bridges, canals, retaining walls and sea walls, helping asset owners move from reactive maintenance to proactive, informed decision-making.
Traditional infrastructure assessments are unable to connect the dots between inspection reports and other visual records, making it difficult to build a clear picture of an asset's condition over time. These data sources complement each other, but their differences make direct comparisons prone to error, especially when trying to detect patterns and assess deterioration based on historical data. DI's multimodal fusion technology bridges this gap by seamlessly integrating images and reports to create a continuously evolving model of infrastructure condition.
"Our AI-powered platform sets a new industry standard by moving civil infrastructure maintenance from a reactive process to a proactive, intelligent system," said Alon Oring, Vice President of Dynamic Infrastructure Research.
