Push to Oil Sample
Oil sampling can be simplified with the patented KP Pushbutton sampling valve from Checkfluid. The KP saves time and offers a safe way to take an oil sample. It can be used in engines, transmissions, compressors, hydraulics, and other pressurized systems up to 750 psi. The KP gives more accurate oil analysis results by taking hot active oil samples from the same place every time without shutting the equipment down.
With the KP, oil sampling takes seconds. To sample, simply remove the dust cap, hold the sampling bottle under the spout, and push the button to open the valve. Oil will flow directly into the bottle. Once your hand is removed from the button, the valve closes and completely seals. If environmental contamination is an issue, a zip bag can be placed over the bottle to reduce outside contamination. The spout on the valve will puncture the bag, allowing the oil to flow directly into the bottle.
The clean compact pushbutton design removes the need for probes and reduces the risk for cross contamination. The compact design makes for a low purge volume. The KP’s unique 360˚ rotating spout offers convenient access and installation without swivel fittings. A wide variety of threads are available for many types of equipment, along with a wide variety of materials for optimum fluid and environmental compatibility. Additionally, a locknut option is available for high vibration environments, and a silicon pad is available on the button for high heat environments.
