AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE Chooses IFS Cloud to Build a Competitive Advantage
The ERP solution will help the Czech manufacturer speed up aircraft production and better meet customer demand.
IFS today announced that AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE (Aero), the largest aircraft manufacturer in the Czech Republic and one of the oldest aircraft manufacturers in the world, has selected IFS to leverage IFS Cloud, a leading ERP solution, to optimize processes and increase throughput in the highly competitive aerospace industry.
By deploying IFS Cloud together with Teamcenter, Siemens' product lifecycle management (PLM) solution, the Czech company aims to move towards paperless production and assembly by leveraging advanced digital twin technologies and visualization tools for the production floor. These solutions provide users in the production floor with digital work instructions and streamline approval processes in key functions.
In addition, the deployment of IFS Cloud together with Teamcenter will enable process standardisation in line with industry best practices. This holistic approach aims to optimise production efficiency, reduce errors and ensure consistent quality across all operations.

Built from ERP and PLM systems, the solution will include the development, design and manufacture of proprietary aircraft, the development of components and composite parts for other aircraft manufacturers, and aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul.
The Czech division of IFS partner InfoConsulting will implement the entire solution at Aero's site in the Czech Republic. When fully deployed, the IFS Cloud solution is expected to have close to 900 full users, plus more than 900 in-store users. In addition, the Siemens PLM solution will have more than 700 users in Aero's R&D, manufacturing and production departments, covering the entire product lifecycle process.
