Interplay Learning Expands Industrial Training with New Maintenance Catalog
The catalog provides a range of expert-led courses and hands-on 3D simulations designed to support industrial workforce development and improve operational efficiency.
Interplay Learning has launched a new industrial maintenance training catalog, expanding its immersive learning platform for the skilled trades.
The new training resources cover both foundational and advanced industrial maintenance topics. Courses include Introduction to Pneumatics, How to Use a Multimeter, and Hazards of Confined Spaces and Maintenance, as well as PLC Troubleshooting and Hydraulic Troubleshooting. The curriculum is designed for skilled roles such as electricians, millwrights, mechanics, and multi-craft workers, with additional courses expected to be added in the future.
The training is accessible across multiple devices, including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and virtual reality (VR). Organizations can also leverage built-in management tools for tracking progress, measuring skills, and assessing workforce development.
Addressing Industrial Workforce Challenges
The launch of this catalog comes at a time when industrial organizations face increasing challenges, including unplanned downtime, a shortage of skilled labor, and growing equipment complexity. The platform's goal is to enhance workforce readiness, reduce maintenance delays, and support safety and performance standards through structured learning.
"Effective training is essential for industrial organizations to thrive in today’s fast-paced, complex environment," said Doug Donovan, CEO of Interplay Learning.
"As operational demands grow, organizations must invest in developing skilled workers to tackle challenges like unplanned downtime and workforce productivity."
Interplay Learning's recent acquisition of Industrial Training International (ITI) further strengthens its industrial training offerings. ITI specializes in crane and rigging operations, adding instructor-led training and simulations to Interplay’s growing industrial portfolio.
